Depressing Cat Messages.

So I came across a compilation of depressing images combined with cute cat cartoons, I'm not sure exactly how the combination of those two things work somehow, do the cats make the message happy or something? I'm not sure but either way I felt like blogging about them.

1-
To start off with, this image is depressing because of how true it is, our bodies start declining at a certain age and no matter what we do it will just keep getting worse and worse.

How scary is that? all your looks, strength, stamina, everything you have physically will be gone one day even if you do your best to take care of it

Oh Arnie..

It scares me to think of old age, the idea that one day I wont be able to walk or get up without help is terrifying, to live your life depending on others like that... I'd much rather hope to pass away earlier at 60 than later when I have nothing, I mean past a certain age is there really any point in living? if you cant sleep, or eat or move on your own, what sort of life is that?

Thanks a lot depressing cat.

2-
Another sad fact of this world is that somehow money is distributed in such an imbalanced way that some people have far too much and others cant feed themselves, which is so frustrating.

What gets me the most is how in advanced countries, you're better off in jail than free, in jail you get free food while living on the street means nobody takes care of you, sure you lose your freedom but freedom doesnt fill a person's stomache.

How can the world work in a way that some people starve and some people have so much more than they need ( or deserve)?

3-
I love this one, mainly because it plays on how so many people say " true love is unconditional" or " X loves me unconditionally" sorry but nobody can love someone else unconditionally.

It doesn't work that way, while love is very much a fact of life, it happens because we make someone happy and in return they make us happy, that's very conditional if you ask me, do you love a person who makes you miserable? if a person does nothing for you, can you still love them?

When we love someone we try our best to make them happy, to impress them and hear them laugh, we listen to their problems and do whatever we can to make their lives easier, in return though we expect the same from them, we expect them to care about us and our happiness otherwise how can we say they love us?

Or maybe I'm just a selfish lover? who knows.

4-

Ever heard the saying " We love people for their flaws?" yeah.... thats not true.

Have you met someone rude and liked them for their rudeness? or a greedy person for their greed? no you haven't, because if a person has a flaw then that's something wrong with them, how can anyone enjoy another person's short temper? what about a person with bad breath? is that unique and beautiful?

No its not, a flaw is a flaw, that's why its called..flaw? and no one should be proud of theirs, we all have our shortcomings and they aren't things to boast about in anyway, our flaws are things to improve upon and a way to be better people.

5-
The first image I disagree with, because while everyone has had this thought at some point in their relationship, its really quite ridiculous when you think of it, the people who end up together are together because they are more suited for each other than anyone else, not because they somehow got lucky.

Everyone has opportunities to be with any number of people, yet in the end they pick one person and not someone else, why? because they know who will make them happiest in the end, you pick the person whose best for you, you wouldn't settle for less and neither would anyone else, so while its a depressing thought to have, the above image is ultimately untrue, because if the person you're with now could have been happier with someone else, they wouldnt be with you.

6-
Its weird to think of ourselves as flawed human beings, very few people would admit they are wrong and that they made a mistake, and if they do admit it its usually to someone they care about.

But the people we dislike are always wrong, they don't like us so how can they be right in something? if they were right it means they arent the bad people, it would mean that we are though.

Its hard to admit but everyone is wrong at some point, and not everyone will like us but that's okay, we're not put in this world to please everyone, we just have to treat people as best we can and if they dislike us after that, then its their fault and not ours.

7-
Well not unless you win the olympics at it, then you're certified to be the best at something, but other than that... no sadly us normal people will probably live most of our lives being quite average, sure we can excel in somethings, but can you beat 7 billion people in anything?

Probably not and you know what? that's okay, we don't have to be the best in anything really, we just need to try the best we can and hope that our efforts are appreciated, what more can anyone ask for than a person's best?

Well that's all for this post, hope you enjoyed reading this.

I downloaded too many kitten gifs.

Naruto 628 Review.

Hello everyone, Naruto has come out this week following a break for Kishi, 628 is quite a fast paced action chapter following weeks of flashbacks and Sasuke.

To read my review of the previous chapter see it here.

Firstly are any of you disappointed that we are no longer reading about the previous Kages? I just realized how entertaining they were while reading this chapter, not that this was a boring chapter in anyway but I'd much rather have more history of the previous kages.

The chapter begins with the Shinobi Alliance facing a combined attack from both Madara and Obito, since they are both Uchiha they are specialist in fire jutsus, I kinda forgot how strongly associated with fire the Uchiha are but it was a nice reminder to see them use fire jutsus here.

Not only are fire jutsus used but they also use a ton of kunai against the Alliance, however thankfully they are all still covered by the Kyuubi's shroud and suffer no real damage.

Its at this point that I gotta wonder about Naruto's new form, how versatile is it exactly? it grants him super speed, greater strength, sensing powers and he can apparently protect others with it, it doesnt seem like any other Jinchuriki can share chakra or am I wrong? and speaking of Jinchuriki where the hell is Killer B in this chapter? he doesnt appear even once.

From this panel and from what Minato said earlier about giving his son a present, I think its pretty obvious now that by the time the 4th arrives on the field, Naruto will have spent most of his chakra and he will receive the other half of the Kyuubi inside his father, its foreshadowed pretty hard and almost guaranteed to happen by now.

How many times has Obito asked for Talk-no-jutsu? it seems that everytime he argues with Naruto he's begging to be convinced or persuaded that he's wrong and Naruto just hasnt hit the right note on that yet, i am on the fence on whether Obito will convert back to being a good guy since a major theme in Naruto is how bad guys tend to redeem themselves before they die ( Zabuza, Nagato, Danzo).

Obito seems very confused by what he wants.
Madara senses the chakra of the First Hokage, which is a little confusing since there should be a lot of people walking around with Senju DNA, all the Zetsu's as well as Orochimaru are comprised of Hashirama cells and Madara was never stated to be a sensor either, still I cant complain too much because we get another Madara "rape face" ( the best one so far in fact).

This week.
Last time.
Just from his expression I think Madara has always felt inferior to Hashirama and that every time they faced each other he has wished for the chance to prove he is greater than him, he probably drove his clan to ruin by his obsession to defeat his rival and that has cost him everything, I imagine that after receiving any sort of power-up Madara felt this ecstatic at the chance of defeating Hashirama but he fell short everytime, he might feel he has been revived this time just for the opportunity to prove he is superior once and for all.

But probably the best part for me this entire chapter, was seeing Obito and kakashi teleport to the other dimension to fight each other, we've seen everything else in this chapter before, the Ten-Tails using a massive attack, Obito talking with Naruto about something to do with bonds, Madara thinking about the previous First kage, so the only real step forward is the start of Obito vs Kakashi.

But thats for another time, as the chapter ends with the Ten-Tails releasing a massive attack that completely obliterates the surrounding terrain, its a little hard to imagine how everyone can make this out alive so I am curious whats going to happen in the next chapter.

Predictions.

There isnt much to add about this chapter since its mostly action so I'll just put in my predictions for the next few weeks.

1. Kakashi's fight with Obito will reveal the secret behind Rin's death, I am not too sure how the fight between those two will proceed but Kakashi is the only one who knows why Rin had to die and nobody wants to know that more than Obito, I think somehow that Kakashi will win and Rin's story will either change Obito and make him a good guy again or it will be the last thing he hears before he dies and he will die in peace.

2. Minato will give the other half of the Kyuubi's chakra to Naruto, this is fairly obvious but I still feel like saying it, I also think Minato will talk to Kakashi during this war, probably after Kakashi comes back from his fight.

3. Orochimaru is still the most likely person to be the Ten-Tail Jinchuriki, since only Obito can do it and he's far away with kakashi that only leaves Orochimaru as the other possible candidate, aside from him who else is there? Madara is a zombie and cant do it which leaves no one else really.

Rating.

This is a mostly repeated chapter with nothing really that new happening that we havent seen before, therefore I cant give this chapter a rating thats too high, the art was decent and I am looking forward to Kakashi's fight and hope he wins one for once as he seems to always perform badly in most engagements, either way Naruto 628 gets a 2.5 out of 5.

Thanks for reading my review :D.

My Brother Reviews "Mouth Agape: Over tar, Tthe Last Air Dancer."

My brother watched The Last Airbender movie with me and decided to submit his own opinions on my blog.

You are reading this because you cannot get enough criticism of the movie, of how the terrible, horrible, silly way M. Night Shamalingdong brought Avatar to life. If you are a fan of the series, and you have not seen the movie yet... go see it. It is definitely in the "so bad that it hurts" category, and is quite an experience. If you have already seen it, then let us enjoy it a bit more, shall we?

Book One: Water, was a pretty powerful season, large in geographical scope, rich with colourful characters, and with an intricate story. Avatar Aang and his gang started at the South Pole, visited the Southern Air Temple, visited Kyoshi island, visited the walled city of Omashu, went on a floating prison, freed a village from a rampaging panda, visited a Fire Temple, fought with pirates, fought alongside rebel outlaws, went fishing with an old man, got captured and freed by an enemy, saved a village from an erupting volcano, spent some time with a few nuns, met Jeong Jeong (a fire bending master), then went to the North Pole to learn more water bending, where the gang was besieged.
I suppose book 1 was kinda awesome.

That is a lot. It is 20 episodes, which is roughly 7-8 hours of non-stop animation. The quality of the storytelling means that even if you take out filler material (crossing the canyon, riding penguins and koi), you will still end up with 5-6 hours worth of dense, quality material. That is 4 or 5 movies' worth of time. Condensing all of that into your standard 1 hour 20 minute format is an enterprise doomed to failure, guaranteed. Even if you omit as much of the non-essential plots as you can, you will still need 2-3 hours for Book One, which is two movies, and that barely, BARELY does the series justice.

So from the start, we know that the movie is going to butcher the series and throw away 4/5ths of it. And yet, the story is written, the series is already acclaimed for its great directing, you just need to bring to live-action, right? How badly can Mr. Shamalamadingdong mess up? Ah... where to begin? The cast, of course!

In the series: Avatar Aang is a cute, somewhat silly 12 year old. He is fun and bubbly.
In the movie: Over-tar Ong looks like he is 7 years old, and his mouth is almost always agape. He is not fun, cute or silly. He is just awkward.

In the series: Katara has light brown skin and hair loopies. She is defiant yet reasonable, emotional but rational, a complex character that binds the group together.
In the movie: Katara is white, and her character is flat. So flat and insipid, that if she had been deleted from the movie, you would not have noticed. For some reason, in about 90% of the scenes she is in, her mouth is agape.

In the series: Sokka is sarcastic and goofy, yet knowledgeable and a strategist. He is the leader of the group... somewhat
In the movie: Sokka stands there with his mouth agape. At the end of the movie, after spending roughly 15 seconds with a girl, he falls in love and they kiss. Other than that, nothing. No wit, no humour, no funny, no leadership, no sarcasm. Nothing. Except his mouth being agape, that is.

Mouths Agape alright.

In the series: Zuko is Chinese. He has a HUGE angry red scar that covers a quarter of his face. He is the most complex character, seeking his honour, yet seething with anger, torn between conflicting desires.
In the series: Zuko is Indian. He has acne. His mouth is agape. When his mouth is not agape, it is because he is rudely shouting. Why? I do not know! The movie certainly did not explain.

In the series: Iroh (Eye-row) is a SHORT, FAT, wise, old Chinese man. He is the calm foil to Zuko's youth and recklessness.
In the movie: Eeroh (Eee-row) is a TALL, THIN, wise, old Indian man. Surprisingly, Eeroh's performance was quite good, despite the weight loss, the increased height, and the change of ethnicity. He was the ONLY actor who managed to pull of his role well. Against all odds, when Eeroh is silent, his mouth is not agape.

In the series: Firelord Ozai is mysterious, respected and feared by all around him.
In the movie: Ozai is a smirking jerk. He is an Indian wearing Roman armour. Why is an Indian wearing Roman armour? Why not cast a fearsome tough guy instead of a smirking jerk? Ask Mr. Shamalingdong.

So that is the cast for you. The ethnicity changes could have been acceptable, but the personalities changed too (aside from Eeroh), and some of the names changed, and the result is quite ugly. The really funny bits are where Indian soldiers walk about wearing Roman clothes/armour. If Shamalingdong changed the characters from Chinese to Indian, then why not give them Indian clothes? It does not make much sense.

Bending the elements is the core of the series, but the movie botches it. Air bending is easier to animate than it is to show in real life, so that can be forgiven, but water bending and fire bending both look weak. Instead of martial art moves, the actors dance, and sometimes the dancing proves to be ineffective (check the ending of the movie, where Ong and Katara dance for about 1 minute with no visible result). The bending is much closer to "energetic yoga" than it is to the fighting-styles of the series. Shamalingdong cripples the fire nation by requiring a fire source to bend (like water is needed for water bending), so you end up with scenes where air/earth/water benders are fighting for their lives with fire benders... when there is only one source of fire that can easily be put out. It does not make sense.

The story is subpar, even if you have not watched the show. The plot moves too fast and there no character development, while far too much time is spent on yoga-dancing ("bending") and actors looking stupid with their mouths agape, but in general the plot is still within the realm of acceptability. The bending effects, if you discount the yoga-dancing behind and look only at the elements, are actually quite good. Most of the props and sets in the movie are good too... except for Appa. I have absolutely no idea what they did with Appa's face. No, I literally have NO IDEA what Appa's face looks like, because Appa never shows his full face to the camera for more than 0.1 seconds. I think movie-Appa was so damn ugly, that even Shamalingdong could not bear to see his face, so they made sure all the Appa shots are from the side, or that Appa's face is cropped.

There is not much to this movie. A badly chosen cast who mostly cannot act, a weak and butchered storyline, blindingly obvious plotholes, extreme faithlessness to the original, but some cool CG effects. Cramming 7 hours of story into 80 minutes was never going to work, and you needed people who could do more than yoga and "keep your mouth slightly open." Fans of the series are going to be disgusted by the unpleasantness of seeing SO MANY unnecessary and jarring changes to the show, while people who have not seen the animation will likely give the movie a 5 or 6 out of 10. Personally, I give it 1/10, 0.5 for the CGI, and 0.5 for Eeroh. As for the missing 9 points, I simply deducted 0.1 from the score every time a character spent half a scene with their mouth agape.

I Dont Understand How Money Works.

I am not sure if this title really suits the topic but its not like I know one thats better so lets just go with it.

Money is always an interesting topic, of course it would be since its such a major part of everyone's life, how much money you have and how much money you earn dictates your quality of life, its a bit sad in a way how you can measure people's worth by how much paper they earn in a month instead of who they are and what morales they have.

But the fact that money determines people's worth isn't the point of this post, its how incredibly messed up the world's salary is, and that's what really gets to me, how little some people earn and how much others do.

Sports and the Movie industry are what surprise me the most, while I do not in anyway say those fields are easy, they seem to give far too much for what the people working in them do.

This guy made 75 million last year.
I love how people justify the salary actors get especially, " oh you dont know how hard they work, they have to wake up at 2 am and spend hours putting on makeup and sometimes they must do the same scene 8 times".

Excuse me? for the money the make Anyone would be willing to wake up at pretty much any hour of the day and sit in a chair for makeup, its almost criminal to be honest to hear how much some people get paid, and how little others do.

Public workers, policemen, teachers, etc. A lot of professions get paid too little for what they do even though they perform a much greater public service than a person trying to hit a ball on television, yet that's how life works and thats pretty freaking confusing to me.

Doctor's paid less now.

Then again that's the law of supply and demand, people don't mind spending their money to watch a sporting event and their money fuels that industry, yet they don think they will get sick or have their houses burned so they dont donate anything for doctors or fireman.

Its jarring to think of that.

Personally I believe those who make too much money should be taxed more and that would help the government and the people, what exactly do you need 75 million for anyways? what can you do with 75 million that you cant do with, say 30 million?

Such heavy taxation might sound harsh to some yet it would help thousands of others who are struggling to get through their daily lives while others are wondering which islands they want to buy. Is it fair to tax so heavily? Probably not, but its also unfair to think that people who study for years to get a job helping people are paid pennies compared to athletes who are paid millions for sponsoring some shoe.

The Last Airbender Movie Review

I enjoy adaptations, from whatever form to whatever form, I love almost all of them, whether its book to movie ( Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter) comics to movies ( Hulk, Batman, Avengers) or books into TV shows ( Game of Thrones) A good adaptation is a chance to enjoy the same story A second time on a different medium.

So when I heard there would be a movie adaptation of one of the best cartoons to ever come out, I couldn't help but be excited, Avatar was an incredible show and was followed by the equally impressive Legend of Korra, but lets stick to the movie for now.

I didn't see the movie when it first came out, but I read many... less than flattering interviews about it, criticizing pretty much everything about the movie, honestly nothing about this movie was spared from the wrath of critics, but hey they aren't true fans like I am so they probably wouldn't enjoy the movie like I would right?

Oh how wrong I was...

Its really hard to tell what causes this movie to fall apart so spectacularly,  I wish I could say something good about this movie to start the review, some small redeeming factor that makes it watchable at least yet sadly there just isn't anything good here.

I suppose it has an awesome poster.

To begin with, characters names are changed for no reason whatsoever. Aang becomes Ong and he's no longer the Avatar, oh no that's just too easy, he is now Ong the Ovotar although some people still refer to him as Aang or the Avatar which is even more confusing.

But those are just names right? I mean they may change their names but their still the same characters...or so I hoped, for no logical reason every character's race was changed, the water tribe becomes a race of white people instead of Inuits, the Fire Nation which is a Chinese dynasty in the cartoon has suddenly become Indian and the earth benders have now become Chinese instead, I find it hard to believe that whoever did the casting for this movie was sober at the time.

They look just like their animated version.

Perhaps these new faces were picked because they can bring the original characters to life or something, if that was the plan well that failed as well as nobody really pulls of their role well to be honest, Ong is boring to be blunt, Sokka isn't funny, Zuko's scar healed at some point and Katara doesnt have her hair loopies :/

So the characters fail, what next is there? the story of Avatar feels incredibly rushed, it would have been anyways no matter what they did probably, trying to squeeze 20 episodes into an hour and a half just wasn't going to work to begin with and because of that many iconic scenes were either rushed or entirely removed.
Fans of the show will be able to follow the story, but I don't expect anyone to convert into an avatar fan because of this movie.

Mouths wide open.

I suppose only action is left to talk about, the movie mixes martial arts and CGI bending for fight scenes to produce something that's very lacking, to bend any small amount of anything benders have to dance for 6-7 moves before a pebble moves which is very different from the smoothness of the cartoon series, not only that but a major point of change is how Firebenders cant produce their own source of fire, meaning they carry torches into battle to bend, yet nobody targets these sources for some reason, in one scene three fire benders bend from a lantern that they have no way to defend should someone actually put it out, but nobody does. In the movie's final battle the Waterbenders know they will be attacked but they don't put out the fires in their city for some reason, such plot holes don't help this movie at all.

Easily the best part of the movie.

So in conclusion, should you watch this movie?
well whenever someone asks me if they should watch this movie I always tell them.

Oddly enough, I'd say yes because its entertaining in its badness, it may have no redeeming qualities but any fan of the show should watch it just to see how bad it can be, watching this movie with friends really makes it tolerable, I watched it with my brother and pointing out every mistake the movie makes can be quite fun, make it a drinking game and you'll be out like a light within the first 10 minutes.

I give Avatar the Last Airbender a 0.5/5 ( But I still recommend you watch it for yourselves).

Spartacus Victory Review

Spartacus is over, wow thats a sad thought isnt it? its been 4 seasons of blood, violence, drama, love and..well a lot of naked women but all of that is over now and it feels so weird to think that this show which started out quite weak to be honest, has come so far to produce an episode that is truly amazing.

From the start we see that the rebel army has spread out a little into small groups attacking homes to free slaves and the commander of each group claims to be Spartacus and while this is obviously a plan made by the rebel leader it also shows that Spartacus is not really a person anymore but an idea now, Spartacus means freedom and it doesnt matter who holds the name so long as people believe in the idea.

The main focus of the episode of course is the final battle between Crassiues and Spartacus but before that we spend a lot of time seeing the both sides prepare and I loved seeing the emotional scenes between everyone involved.

Agron and Nasir

Surprisingly Agron lived past episode 8 and seeing him broken and unable to even hold a sword was really sad, Agron is the only person left from the ludus apart from Spartacus himself and seeing him with holes in his hands was just sad.

I loved seeing the weapon Nasir fashioned for him, a shield with blades through it is genius but what was better was seeing their relationship together, its rare to see a gay relationship portrayed so positively and I'm glad we see it here.

 Gannicus and Spartacus

Since the first episode of this season Gannicus has been reluctant to become a leader but this season has focused a lot on his character growth, when we first saw him Gannicus was really a very simple man who was good with a sword, even the start of this season saw him just a man who enjoyed sex and violence and he ends it as a leader of a part of a rebel army and with actual feelings for a woman.

His talk with Spartacus proved his character growth in the end, though Spartacus himself showed that he isnt the same man he was before either, I loved how he defines victory as not the death of his enemies but in the life of others he cares about which is really something to think about, a person who only aims to destroy others is a monster, the saint is the person who improves and helps others.

" an old argument spartacus"
Marcus Crassiues.

I end this season completely unsure of how I feel about Crassiues, he shows many conflicting sides of himself that in the end leave him feeling like a half-baked character, particularly in his relationship with his son who he thinks is a mirror of himself and after finding out what his son did to Kora Marcus cant bear to look into his own mirror without feeling disgusted.

Probably one of the most conflicted people on this show.
Dont get me wrong he's a very interesting person to watch, but its hard to figure out what his motives really are, he loves his son but is willing to risk his death, he loves Kora but is willing to kill her as an example to others, he joined this war to gain more power and he did but it cost him everything else he cared about in the end, was it really worth it?
The battle

Of course since this is the final episode this has to be the biggest battle of all, there's too much action here to talk about since its all chaos anyways.

What I did enjoy were the two private battles, Gannicus against Caeser and Spartacus vs Crassius.

Its hard to argue which is better, both fights were expected for a long time, since the season started we knew Spartacus would engage Crassius but having both the right hand men hate each other was a good bonus, especially since they had already fought earlier in the show.

oh Naevia dies...sorry.

Gannicus's fall in battle was heart wrenching, While I enjoy Caeser, his smug look made him seem like quite a monster, or perhaps I'm just bias towards Gannicus.

Spartacus's battle was a lot more focused though, after killing all of the Imperator's guards ( and getting injured in the process) he faces him in a very personal 1 on 1 fight and I've always been a sucker for those.

The fight seems mostly even, both men are tired and injured which balances out the scales between them, yet remembering how many people he loved died because of the romans gives Spartacus the temporary boost he needs to overpower Crassiues, and just when he is about to deal the fatal blow we see Crassius use the same move he used back in episode one to kill Hector.

Do either of these men know how to grab a sword?
Sadly, getting speared 3 times stops Spartacus from completing his "kill Crassius" plan.

The Aftermath

Spartacus manages to escape thanks to Agron but the damage is done, every slave has been caught and killed apart from a small group which Spartacus escapes with, Crassius gets no glory for his accomplishments due to the appearance of Pompey who claims he killed Spartacus elsewhere in the mountains, everyone caught is crucified and while seeing Gannicus in such a state and dying was heartbreaking, the more surprising image was that Kora suffered the same fate.

Still, the death of the title character is definitely the saddest part of this conclusion, I enjoy bad endings, when the hero doesnt always win yet the victory here was so one-sided for the villians its just depressing to think of.

You had a good run.
Spartacus is over and with it a lot of time has just freed up for a lot of people, a show like this is rare and while not everyone's cup of tea I enjoyed it immensely, thanks Spartacus for all the good times.

So I have Internet again...

Funny how anticipating something is usually better than actually having it, I havent had internet at home for almost a month, and when it finally arrived here at my new home I pretty much acted like.

Or at least I did for the first hour or so, after that it was back to normal, weird how quickly our brains get bored...ah well c'est la vie.

Naruto 627 Review

Man did I love this chapter, Naruto 627 was a chapter that focused solely on characters and their motivation and I always love chapters like these, its mostly a set-up for the battle against Madara and set the pieces for what will probably be the climax of the manga.

To read my review of last week's chapter and predictions Click here.

Anyways lets start talking about this week's chapter, I loved what Hashirama said about shinobi, they are people who face difficult choices and see them through, they are forced to endure many hardships and it seems I am not the only person who thinks so as those words seem to have sunk in with Sasuke as well, he has been conflicted since he met Itachi and hearing what Hashirama said was the thing he needed to push him back squarely into the good side.

Was anyone really surprised Sasuke became a good guy again? since the moment he joined Orochimaru from part one Sasuke didnt do anything that was morally irreparable, he killed some people correct but none of them were what you could consider both Important AND good characters, he killed Deidera, Danzou and Itachi but all of these were considered evil at the time ( Itachi isnt evil of course but everyone thought he was at his time of death) and he did kill some fodder samurai earlier but those arent important to the story so they can be considered a forgivable offense.

If Sasuke had killed Kakashi in their reunion then he would be permanently in the villain camp, simply by virtue of being alive for so long without committing a major crime meant Sasuke was always set up to return to Konoha. ( This was one of my predictions from last week and I am happy it came true)

The above panel somewhat confuses me, did Madara's brother contribute anything towards peace? from all we saw he did try to protect the Uchiha by sacrificing his eyes but from almost all his appearances we see Izuna fighting, so I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me.

Itachi inheiriting Hashirama's will was a very interesting concept, the ones who usually get the cycle of hatred instead got the will of fire, I liked that a lot, I also liked it how when we consider the two brothers Itachi and Sasuke, Itachi the "good" one died being thought of as a villain and Sasuke who I think is more evil will turn out to be the one who redeems his clan.

Tobirama is not the villain people make him out to be, despite his questionable decissions earlier he proves that as second Hokage he deserved the title, he respected his enemies and trusted the ones who proved himself, was he a racist? Thats hard to tell, he has a hard view on the Uchiha and its up to every person to determine whether he is right or wrong in his views.

Pretty epic Panel.
While Sasuke's return to Konoha's side is expected, Orochimaru helping him isnt, its hard to figure out what he will do now that he has come back into the story, Orochimaru always seemed like the most unpredictable character and I doubt he will just join the Allied forces without some hidden agenda.

Karin is further proof that Kishi cant write women for some reason, the way she just forgave Sasuke for you know, trying to kill her was just mind boggling, this guy stabbed her without a second thought then ordered that she be killed and she just forgave him? what sort of sick love is this? but then again Sakura is still in love with Sasuke even after he tried to kill her too so perhaps trying to kill a woman is the fastest way to get her to love you in the Naruto world.

Suigetsu summarizes his group best.
The kages and everyone else assemble and its fun to see what they all want for the future, Minato wants to see his son, Hashirama wants to meet Madara again, Tobirama wants to defeat him this time and Hiruzon just wants a fight.

Best picture.

simply wow.

The last double spread page is epic, its just amazing, there is no other way to describe it other than that, its easily the best image this chapter, widescale shots like these are beautiful and seeing every kage stand on top of their own carved monument was too cool.
So yeah thats the end of 627, a chapter that dealt with the results of Hashirama's speech and flashback as well as set the story up for the next few chapters, I personally loved this chapter so much and cant give it anything less than a perfect score.

Predictions.

Its a little hard to predict where the story goes after this since it could be anywhere, however I dont think the kages will arrive early in the next chapter, we will see how the allied forces are doing by themselves first for a while then have them join the battle, my bet is they will join at the end of a chapter, maybe 628 but not likely, They will appear to save the allied forces from some major attack by the Jyuubi.

Minato's gift to Naruto will most likely be the Chakra sealed inside him, I read many theories on how Minato has half the kyuubi's chakra inside him and I believe that he will now give it back to Naruto when he meets him, this will probably allow Naruto to power up the entire shinobi army.

Orochimaru is the person I am most unsure about I simply cant tell what he will do because he's never been predictable, but I think he might try to either be the Jyuubi's jincuriki or he will sync with the Gedo Mazo, Tobi wont do it and Orochimaru has always talked about being a complete being, a god and whats more godly than being the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails?

Thats all my thoughts for this chapter, hope you enjoyed reading this.
